New kitchen for Christmas? Now’s the time to buy!

It’s 30°C outside and the last thing on your mind is Christmas. But if you’ve offered to host all the family this year and you want a new kitchen in time for the festive season, now’s the time to choose it. Here’s why you need to get things moving now:

Choices

Today you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to buying a new kitchen. Wood cabinets or maybe white? White gloss or matt?  And corian, ceramic and concrete are just a few of the worktop options available. It’s not just a matter of choosing a cabinet style and a worktop. You also need to think about handles – or no handles, splashbacks, lighting, and any new appliances you want to add. Our experienced designers at Schwarz are on hand to help you make the best choices, but you do need to allow some time to make your decisions. It’s the best way to make sure your kitchen is just right for you.

The holiday season

Most people try to get away for a well-deserved break for at least a few days over the summer. That means there’s less time for fitting in appointments. You’ll need to visit the showroom and have a home visit for measurement by one of our designers before your kitchen plan can be prepared, so get those appointments booked in before you head off on your holidays. If possible, call in to one of our Schwarz Kitchens showrooms in Brighton, Eastbourne and Haywards Heath before you go away.

Made for you

When you buy from Schwarz Kitchens all the units you order are made just for you. A bespoke kitchen design means you can get the best from your space, but it also means you need to allow a little longer for your cabinets to be delivered. It usually takes between 6-8 weeks for your units to arrive from our supplier in Germany, and fitting can take another week or two, depending on the exact nature of the project.

Extra work

You might need to have some additional work done as part of refitting your kitchen – perhaps plastering walls or replacing flooring. You’ll need to allow time for these jobs to be completed as part of your overall project.

Avoid the stress and disappointment of not being prepared for the festive season. Don’t wait till the mince pies are on the supermarket shelves. Go ahead and order now and your new kitchen will be ready in good time to entertain your family and friends this Christmas.
